Paws For Thought Calendar 2014

PAWS FOR THOUGHT 2014 CALENDAR

I have been designing the collateral for PFT for a few years now, and they came to me to see if I could design their 2014 Calendar for them. The Calendar greatly assists PFT in their ability to help abandoned animals get the right vet care and health needs, and then to find them a loving and responsible home. I am very proud to be affiliated with such a cause, and when I was asked if I could help them with the 2014 Calendar I jumped at the chance.

The client wanted the calendar to have a very soft feel, with the main demographic of her followers being women, and generally in the age bracket of 35 years plus. For this reason I presented the client with an option to have a softer colour feature throughout the calendar, and also ensured that the text was clear and easy to read. I wanted the calendar to be more bespoke than you can purchase in the shop, and the client was very much on board with this.  I was provided the photographs from Jo Lyons Photography and On the Ball Photography, and was able to really feature each chosen dog for each month.

Medium:                 Calendar – A4 – Landscape Orientation

Some Lovely words from Mrs PFT:

I am extremely impressed with Sarah; she has just designed the 2014 calendar for us – and the final outcome has surpassed my initial idea of the calendar. The amount of time, dedication, assistance, flexibility and professionalism shown by Sarah is why I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her. She works as a team and guides her client along the way, listening and advising with many different options until the product is exactly as per the client’s vision. Sarah has been a godsend to my charity, without her I wouldn’t have a logo, business cards, and now my beautiful 2014 calendar – which will enable me to raise much needed funds to continue on my quest. I might add, that all of this has been done in her own time, with no pay, but simply a passion to help others. Every time I look at my new calendar, I want to give Sarah a virtual hug!
