SARAH HARRIS  |  HEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER (BA)

Currently based in Brisbane, I am a Senior Liaison Officer and a freelance graphic designer on the side (when time permits). I have a Bachelor in Graphic Design at Charles Sturt University (Wagga) in December 2013, and throughout my studies have completed subjects in Graphic Design, Multimedia and Business Studies. The fundamentals of Marketing, Management and Accounting are a few of the Business tools I have accumulated and this is a predominant reason I have a savvy business sense as well as a keen eye for design.

I have hands on experience in design, branding, communications, marketing, social media management and web development for a range of communication needs and audiences.  I have a polished and professional focus in the communications and marketing space. I have a great sense of ‘the big picture’ and can adapt my skills to any project as required. I am currently responsible for a large number of projects and collateral in my role, with the ability to add event management and planning to my skill set. My current role  has seen me work to tight deadlines and successfully present a polished and resolved outcome no matter the project.

I have passion for design and sought out a career where I could experience variety in my day to day responsibilities, enjoying the challenge that each new day brings. I graduated in 2013 with a BA Graphic Design with minor subjects in multimedia and business studies. I know the fundamentals of marketing, management and accounting, which give me a savvy business sense as well as a keen eye for design.I have a passion for design and see it as a long term career.

When I don’t have projects in place, I seek out clients through means of offering volunteer work and enjoys assisting not-for-profit companies with their identity creations and design solutions. One such cause is the Sydney based Paws For Thought (PFT) Rescue whom I have helped out on many occasions.

Aside from the world of design, I am a nature lover who enjoys nothing more than to escape to the beach for an afternoon of sand, surf and sun. I married my best friend in November 2019 and renovated a home – so just a few projects in 2019! I am a bit of country girl at heart and love animals dearly, I am a movie buff, trivia geek and enjoy a good drink with good friends.
